The last couple days we have not been up to much in Hoi An. We have been walking around the town and its surrounding areas, visiting the tailor for fittings and have been eating well. The weather the last couple days hasn't been great – we actually had rain!

Unfortunately, on Friday night, I started to get a sore throat and realized that I was likely coming down with a cold. I woke up in the morning not feeling too swift and decided to spend Saturday in bed with the exception of going to the tailor for fittings and heading out to eat. Heading out was a challenge and I really didn’t feel like eating. Luckily, today I was feeling a lot better, so hopefully I should be back to full health in a couple days. The great thing about our time in Vietnam is that we have so much of it that a couple days of doing nothing isn’t a big deal.

We haven’t really done anything in Hoi An yet, but that is going to change as long as the weather cooperates. We are planning on going biking to the beach tomorrow and then are planning on going to My Son, which is a Cham site, the next day. Depending on how I’m doing, we also would like to go snorkeling to the Cham Islands. We had thought about going on a bicycle tour, but for $15 per person it seemed like a bit much! I know that sounds cheap to most people, but our tour to My Son will be $5 per person. You can rent a bike for $1 on the street and we have walked around a lot of the countryside already.
