Today we rolled out of bed at 7 am as we were taking a 2 hour bus ride to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The weather in Zadar was perfect, but at the park which is over a mountain range, it was dreary drizzle. At least it wasn't pouring!

We followed tour F from the second gate, where you take 2 boats across the large middle lake to the top of the walkway. You then walk down alongside the water flowing from the different level of lakes. It was like nothing we had ever saw. The pictures are the best explanation on this one.

Once we were done, we hoofed it to catch the 1:50pm bus. No bus came. There was supposed to be a bus at 2:50. It didn't come either. 4 hours later, we left the parks after sitting in the freezing cold.
