Where I stayed
Just Passing Through the Airport!
We just made the 1:00 Groome Shuttle from Columbus. But there were plenty of seats and once the guy got the air turned on it was a pretty smooth ride. Tom requested a wheel chair in advance which allowed us to skip ALL the lines in the Atlanta Airport. Needless to say, next time I fly, I'm reserving a wheel chair . . . and walking with a limp!
The flight over was interesting - about 8 and a half hours and we went up the Eastern Coast and on through Canada, passed right below Iceland or Greenland - hell, I don't know which one, across Ireland and on to Prague.
The food was less than stellar, but edible, and they gave us complimentary wine or beer with the meal - so very nice of them. Not a lot of loud people though and I was able to sleep some.
We arrived on time and, once again, because of Tom's reservation . . . all lines were avoided and our European jouney has begun . . .
