We woke up brutally early on Sunday and went to the train station to board the 9AM TGV for Paris, which would arrive around 1-in time to see the Tour de France. However, reservations were required and the train was fully booked so we got up and drove to Stuttgart for nothing.


We went back to Carlotta's and ate breakfast and then fulfilled Cody's dream of seeing her lab. Then we walked around Tubingen, a really cool university town for a few hours. Carlotta had her meeting at 2 so she dropped us off at the train station for our 5:00 train and we spent the time in between in a beautiful park that had a biergarten across the street.


We took the TGV to Paris and got there around 9. The train had a top speed of 400KM/H. We found our hostel easily and after walking around the area a bit went to bed.
