The last flight took 12.5 hours. I was glad I got some sleep, because the nights before I didn't sleep to well. (Must have been nerves or something.)
When flying over the Netherlands I was amazed how white everything was. Of course I heard about the snow and the cold, but I had no idea that all the snow was there to stay for some time.
At the airport I was picked up by Patrick and Guido, two friends of mine.
