Kind of a crappy day! Got a little
later start than what we wanted. Couldn't get out of town with out U
Turn training and a small town car/tractor/bike show to boot. Once we
got navigated out of town and back on to I-5, we were rolling right a
long. Within 50 miles or so, we started to get into a mist, and
before you know it we were right in the midst of a car wash. This
car wash stayed with us for over 250
miles. We would have liked to go a
tad further, but stopped at 438 miles for the day. Not bad by any
standards, but we wanted to do more. The wind picked up and blew
Chris around. For some reason I was ok, but we are thinking it might
have something to do with the fairing, tourpack and/or trailer. He
has it all. Wish we could have taken some pictures a long the way,
but even Mt Shasta was shy today, she was covered in clouds. So the
only picture we have today is our Motel 6 Campround. You can see how
dark the skies are. We are hoping for an earlier start tomorrow and
blue skies. Have not seen any of those. Oh yeah, they are in WA,
after we left. Hope you all are enjoying them.

Thanx for all of the notes, we love
hearing from you.

By this time tomorrow we should have
reached our first corner. Keep your fingers crossed for us. Hoping
to meet up with a friend that went to boot camp with Chris, we're
hoping to ride a ways with him.
