Okay,
It was my second trip to belgium however this time it was not my usual relaxed travel.This time it was my first trip with emily, mein liefje, and get this not just her alone! We were under the watchful eye of her parents.
The trip was good and it wasnt nearly half as bad as i built it to be. When in Belgium it is so much easier with a family of belgians. I met all of emilys family in a whirl wind tour of west Flanders "Feck the Walloians". It was a stop in every back arse town of the flanders country side which resembles the scenery from Band of Brothers. Its one hell of a country even thou im terribly partial to the traditional Waffles, YUM!
Koksijde is an amazing costal town which would be good to visit in the summer once the weather is a little warmer however anything is better than ireland

Well, i was in the middle of my 6th year, desperatly wanting a break and this presented itself!! first holiday away with mijn schat jonathan, my folks were there but meh they are liberal minded! clic clacs anyone?=) hehehe it was the quickest weekend ever but very enjoyable. He met a bit of my dads side of the family( not even 1/3 of them) and he was overwhelmed. I have quite a large family by the way.. he was dumped in the middle of a non english speaking family and he swam quite well with the help from me.. the translator =) We stayed in my grandparents apartment at the coast and we were meant to sleep apart... eh yeah ur alirte =)
We didnt argue and kill each other like everyone guaranteed we would! so thumbs up for us =D We rock!! love you xx
