It was a bit of a rough day yesterday for Jacquie and we were wishing that we had booked a caregiver type room; but by about 10 pm Jacquie was feeling stronger and could manage on her own again. Even though we were both very tired we didn't sleep too well so plan a very lazy day today. The Dr's came this morning about 8 am and rechecked Jacquie's veins and they were all still open good. Still no real change although we think her feet are less purple. We finally got all checked out and the charge out report showed that the blockage in the left jugular had been 75 - 80% blocked and the azygos 70%. They gave her several prescriptions to get filled including anticoagulants. We just got a 1 month supply as they are very expensive here. The hospital bill is paid but we don't know what it is in dollars but seems large! We were happy to just pick up some yogurt and get back to the room at noon. A big nap is now in order.

Hi guys. Glad to hear that there was blockage and Jacquie qualified for the procedure. Hopefully she will start seeing some effects soon. Thinking of you both.

Don't like the sounds of Jacquie's day; at least it is better now. You guys both rest up - no need to dash out to see anything until you are both feeling up to it. Hopefully more improvements start showing up. Take care and lots of love.
HI Mom & Auntie Cindy - sorry to hear that yesterday was a rough day. Glad Mom started to get a bit more strength. Sounds like you two need a day of good rest - hope you are both able to get it! We will be praying that Mom will start to feel improvements.
Will the Doctors check her veins daily to see that they are still open? How do they check for that?
