Hello All,
Things in SK are much the same. The holidays went by like a blur. We didn't get much time off but we managed to get a 3 day trip to YongPyong for some skiing. It was sweet. Apparently they were in the running for the 2010 Olympics against Vancouver but came up short. I don't know where they would have did the Super G...but i'm sure the crazy asians would come up with some way of doing it.
New Years was nuts. I've never seen anything like it in my life. I have a great video, but it's almost 30MB. Just picture about half a million asians and each of them with their own roman candle. 3 - 2 - 1 ....blast off to star wars. The place was lit up like day time. Even the cops were trying to make a buck selling fireworks. Probably the most unsafe place in Korea for those 30 seconds. I think hte news said about 50 people had eye injuries...and many other injuries in general....hahahah...stupid koreans.
My year is just around the bend...hard to believe that it has been almost 10 months since i landed here in the land of rice. Time flies by like no other. I've had a great year so far especially with little Cotton kicking around. It has been great hanging out with him so much. I think i mentioned it before but i've decided to extend until he is done on June 12. We are then travelling for a couple of months and will be home mid to late August for Chris' wedding.
I don't have any real good stories. Seems to be the same shit different pile these days...work and party...what a life...hahahaha.
I hope all is going well and All the Best in 2007 to everyone!
Jonathan
