Yesterday to say the least was traumatic. Today will be perfect. Every time I woke last night I could here the waves crashing as we left the balcony door open. It is foggy here now but quite a few dogs are playing on the beach with their owners and one brave sole is swimming.

The phone in our room does not work. A repair guy is coming to it soon.

In addition to my faux pas, our dinner was a unique experience. We asked for a recommendation from our hotel guy. Well, we have discovered asking a 22 year old what places 50 year olds like was not a good move on our part

. The food was good, not super, but was a kid friendly joint with parents who let their kids scream, run and kick the backs of tables. It seemed to be the parent's right to show off which family was more tolerant of poor behaviour. We moved three times before finding a quiet table outside.

No sun yet, the fog bank stays till about noon. But those waves are great to listen to. Yesterday we saw a pod of dolphins playing in front of us. I tried to get a picture, one can see a fin popping out of the water. Maybe another day, I will get a good shot.
