hey,

ok so i'm here and tomorrow is fastly approaching. This resort is amazing! It is definately more family oriented and my mom has hundreds of pictures if you are curious. Although it isn't cheap it is definately worth the money. I haven't met as many semester at sea people as i originally thought but I am meeting quite a few right now as i try to get some of this done from the hotel lobby. Most of the students that are down here are headed out to a club or to the casino and are carrying six packs (yeah, they're going to drink and carrying alcohol with them to the bar). I went out earlier this evening with three girls from colby sawyer university. They were all nice but definately thought i was weird when i got a diet. Right now Elise (a girl i just met) and I are both sitting here on our laptops. Neither of us are much up for the party or club scene so we are content to catch up with all of you. Well my battery is almost dead so I'll end this entry and try to post again before i leave the hotel or at least add to this post. It should be fun!
Alright I'm just going to start here where i left off. Right now it is 5:44am in the bahamas and I am back down in the lobby (couldn't sleep, go figure). There is one other person other than staff down here and she's quite a bit older than I am. The weather here hasn't been the best but Joi drug me around the water park aspect of the resort yesterday. I have to say that I had a little bit of a panic attack going down the big water slide. when you get in you lay down and all you see is the sky, there is no slide! And being scared to death of heights anyway i immediately wanted to get out but forced myself to push off in the correct position (arms and legs crossed) only to quickly panic and scramble to try to stop myself. It was horrible! The lifeguard was seen shaking his head saying "bad form mon." I didn't even see the sharks at the bottom. This resort is beautiful though. A great place for family vacations. They have movies every night that you can go to and tons of other attractions for adults. Thats all on top of the beautiful scenery. I'd highly recommend it and wouldn't be against coming back. Well i'll try to write as soon as I get a chance and tell you all how life is on the boat (ship).

I loved your pictures and coments- I will try to check your progress online. I am busy registering students for spring semester here at Monmouth. Looks like Joi was having a blast. I know you will do fine and have a great time once you get going . Enjoy and keep me posted when you can. Love Aunt Lou
