I mentioned a few blogs back about long haul flights seeming like childbirth... spaced far enough apart, you forget the pain and do it all again.

I haven't yet forgotten the pain of 24 hours in a weeny Economy seat in April with no sleep. And l couldn't seat an 85 year old in one.

So l am thrilled to find Cathay Pacific's Premium Economy Sale. At just $500 over Qantas' economy fare and $2000 less than the other Premium options, it's a no-brainer! The downside is that it's straight through and straight back via Hong Kong - no stop-overs allowed. No visits to Singapore.

But the reviews for the product are excellent, so with much anticipation, we board CX104 on Saturday afternoon and head only a little way to the right, just past Business...
