I started this blog at the suggestion of Remington, so thank you for that.

This has truly been the most amazing week of my life thus far. Not that I have completely found dislike for my home country (US) I just have an even greater appreciation for what it means to live life outside the confounds of American soil. The saying that "The grass always looks greener on the other side". Well in this case the grass is greener! It's healthier and more beautiful than can ever be imagine. My heart strings burst at the thought of leaving this place. When people think of Africa their minds fill up with primitive thoughts which are nothing like the truth. Ghana is PARADISE! To fully understand it you would have to come and visit. (and trust me it's worth the plane ticket). The people here are like a breath of fresh air. Everyone wants to look after you for your own good. People here CARE! It's remarkable how much you realize that many Americans don't know what it's like to truly care about another person. Not just for money or sex but solely for the good of that person's soul! If you could imagine a world where only the most beautiful and brightest people dwell, then you can imagine Accra. I've finally found my home.
