This hungover morning, we went the breakfast buffet at our hotel. We got a late checkout so we could go for a walk along the river. I also ran 3.2 miles up river.
Patrick Walsh recommended that we eat at Bert's BBQ but it was closed on Sundays so we went to Stubb's instead. Before taking off, we took a picture at the state Capitol.
Our drive to Beaumont was about five hours with a heavy rain storms along the way. The terrain really flatened-out as we got close to the Gulf of Mexico. For dinner, we went to Outback. After dinner, we checked into the Courtyard and finally did our laundry.
