I think that I found the remote section of highway in the US. There were even fewer places to stop on this leg of the trip than either of the previous two. It was more desert some hills then a few trees right before we got into in San Antonio. The drive was about nine hours. That night, we had dinner on the Riverwalk. www.thesanantonioriverwalk.com. Our hotel was across from the Alamo but the room was handicap people.
