On Thursday, we stopped by aunt Valerie's house in Chandler on our way to El Paso. We changed from I-8 to I-10 East. It was a pretty miserable drive with nothing but desert and temperatures consistently above 100. In New Mexico, we drove through a really strong dust storm. The only good part was stopping off at Chope's for dinner. http://roadfood.com/Reviews/Overview.aspx?RefID=401 After dinner, I showed Mariana the apartment where I used to stay. She didn't really care though.
That night, we stayed in a hotel in downtown El Paso.
