J headed over the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge to visit the Back Bay area today. The streets were not as clean and the people not as friendly as in New York. J was feeling the loneliness, sight seeing on your own isn't enjoyable. She missed B. She went to see Fenway Park, a baseball arena. It's the oldest Major League baseball park in the United States. It seems like Boston, is where many things started. Through the Fenway Muddy Water Reservation which really lives up to its name to Prudential Center. There are different sections to this Reservation, a rose garden, Back Bay Fens where they have split the ground into lots where people grow and maintain as their own garden.
Prudential Center was another shopping center. J had lunch at a local grill place called Uno Grill. The food was not too bad but having lunch. She has not been to lunch on her own that often. Passing the First Church of Christ Scientists to Copley Square and back towards the Charles River. The Boston Public Library, Old South Church, Copley Trinity Church, and the John Hancock Tower are all arrayed around the square. She spent sometime at Dr Paul Dudley Charles River Park which is a park where the land jots out into the Charles River. A place where people walk, jog, relax and take smell... view of the river, beautiful views of Cambridge and Boston city. The day was long and windy, J was glad to be back indoors.
A friend joined us for dinner at the Cheers Bar in Beacon Hill. We had ice-cream for dessert at a coffee shop.
