We took a walk around Goats Island. We spend a good time at the Three Sisters Island just sitting at the waters edge enjoying the rapids. These 3 islands were one submerged beneath the rapids. We made our way to the look out Terrapin Point to get a view of the Horseshoe Falls. The mist of the falls is huge and it lifts up into the sky like a big white cloud and gracefully floats away over the buildings. At times the wind would blow mist from the falls and give us a cool spray.

From all the heat we decided to go to the Cave of the Winds. The queue was quite long but we made it. They gave us funny looking slops to wear and ponchos. We took a lift through solid rock to the bottom of the Niagara gorge, from there we followed the wooden walkways to the famous "hurricane desk". We were just 6m from the billowing torrents of Bridal Veil Falls. The rushing waters loom above you, dousing you with a generous spray as you face the thundering Falls head-on.

All dressed up we went to have dinner at an Asian place called Koi, after retired for the evening. The food was great.
