Visiting Santana Row, it's a neighborhood combining residential and retail space where people could live, work, shop, dine, and enjoy time together.
In Cupertino, J visited the Civic Center, Library, Apple and the shops of course. Everything is very close by which make it nice. Cupertino is famous for being the home of high-tech giants, such as Apple Computer Inc, Symantec Corp and Hewlett-Packard.
We took a drive through the hills along Steven Canyon Road to Saratoga. On other days we visited San Jose and Santa Clara. All theses towns are linked to each other.
Friday afternoon, J & her brother drove up to Arnold to visit family friends, a 3 hr drive. We knew them from Swaziland and they moved back to the States over 10 years ago. They live in a beautiful log cabin up in the forest. It's very peaceful and quiet, no fencing or burglar bars. The most noise you will hear is voices from another cabin or the odd car passing by. It was great spending time with them. J had her first barbeque since we have been here.
