Meeting the family in Atlanta, Georgia
Mar 31, 2008
Friday, 05:00am and here we were at the Westchester County Airport waiting to take our flight to Atlanta to visit family. The flight to Atlanta was just under 2 hours. On the way to B's uncle's place, he took us the scenic route passing the city town. Their main highway has 16 lanes. We had a light breakfast at the cousin's place, it was our first time meeting them and it was very enjoyable. He has two beautiful daughters. By the time we arrived at B's uncle's place it was time for lunch. We had a rest in the afternoon and later went for a drive through the neighborhoods and stopped for ice-cream. A single sugar cone ice-cream is equivalent to a triple in South Africa. Atlanta is the "greenest" city in the United States. Many large oak trees line the streets. From the air these trees create a blanket of green.
