We hit the 1000 mile mark of our journey today. Headed east on the NY thruway and stopped for lunch in Batavia. Lucked into finding a great park with a spray water feature. Bag lunch became a bathing suit 2 hour activity. Had dinner in Schenectady and staying at the cheap but clean Motel 6 in the capitol city. Tomorrow we plan to hit a state park or beach on the way home to our beloved Maine.
