Last night marked the end of the camping portion of our trip. The kids are sad, but Dad is glad. Even though we cheated a bit and went the cabin route, it was still more work than a hotel, but in many ways more fun. Regardless, we feel like we are in the lap of luxury now here in a brand new hotel right on the Niagara River.
The indoor pool here has a spectacular view of the river (even though we are around 20 city blocks from the falls). We had an easy load in and commenced the poolside cocktails immediately. Dinner at the Hard Rock was decent with Jimi Hendrix' guitar and Ella Fitzgerald's shoes a fun diversion. Ice cream at the Twist of the Mist and apparently NF is a mecca for Indian food...who knew? Will have to have some for lunch tomorrow.
