Today we trained out of Osaka to make out way to Mt Fuji. We also book resevered seats for the rest of our long journeys and discovered that the sleeper train is sold out from Sapporo to Toyko so we have to go with an ordinary seat. While a little dissappointing, the regular seats have plenty of leg space and recline back quite a way so it won't be too uncomfortable. Our trip to fuji was over four trains so there was a few changes but they all went smoothly and we made it out here. We didn't see Mt Fuji until very near to our stop but when we spotted it we relised why it is a popular attraction. It is VERY impressive to see in real life. We got to the station and after talking with information they called the hotel and the bus was on it's way to pick us up! We got to the hotel to discover our room was quite a bit larger than our osaka accomodation and the bed's separated into two rooms. We also have a massive view of Mt Fuji and the fujiQ theme park! All in all the hotel package would appear to be very good value with breakfast included.

After getting settled in, at around 6 PM we headed out to a near by set of shops and grabbed a bite to eat for the first time since breakfast at Mos Burger! Mos Burger is an excellent option here in Japan for a snack! We then did some shopping and after spending a bit of time at the shops decided we should head back to the Japanese Restuarant at the hotel for dinner only to discover it just closed for order! We wandered down the street towards the convenience store as a last resort only to discover a Japanese BBQ style resturant that looked open! It was so we ended up feasting there (photos on this blog) which included a very tasty dessert. We then made our way back to the hotel to turn in for the night as tomorrow we plan on hitting fujuQ with it's big roller coasters and hopefully seeing a few more sights around the area before training back to tokyo in the evening.
