Today's the day!  We had to do laundry (Nora went through all her clothes and sleepers we packed for the two days in Regina) so we can start out with as many clean clothes as possible.  We think we're prepared for the transatlantic flight, but we probably are not even close.  We forgot to pack the yoga ball (oh no! what were we thinking!?) so we bought a new one.  This one is smaller and not as firm as the one we're used to, but I hope it will work.  If not, oh well, she can fall asleep without it, obviously, but its more for when NOTHING else will do.  When she's really tired, she's tired and will sleep.
Plans to keep baby entertained on the flight include, but are not limited to: making silly faces, making funny noises, singing goofy songs, letting her play with her toys, and pacing the aisles.  Oh, yes, and making everyone on the plane wish we were on a different flight. 
I hope we've packed all the right stuff in our carry-on bags.  Is three spare outfits enough for this long a trip or will Nora end up finishing the flight in the least dirty of her outfits?  Time will tell.  I've seen her go through several in half an hour much less the however many hours we're on this trip.
Wish us luck! We'll update once we're in Rome or possibly stuck at an airport and looking for a way to pass the time. Off to the airport we go!
