Quick stop. Only a couple days in Korea. I came here, on my way to Japan, because I wanted to see the "famous" DMZ and the border with North Korea.
Besides spending an entire day doing that I did have some time to wander around the city and check out a couple markets that people had recommended to me. I think I am "marketed" out now. No more markets for me. It might take me awhile to even get back to the great Calgary Farmers Market once this trip ends.
Seoul seemed nice. The people where very friendly and it was very easy to get around. Not a lot of visible security around which surprised me a little bit just because the city is so close to the border with North Korea and the history of these two countries isn't necessarily a pleasant one.
