Drove to end of Kepler Track and commenced a 26km day walk to Rocky Point and back.
The lakeside views from the M hut were breathtaking, but alas the sandflies kept us from enjoying the vista indefinitely.
We drove into Te Anau to refuel and then took the Milford Road about 50km before stopping for the night for car camping. After the long walk today it only took two games of Yahtzee and one of chess before we were ready to call it a night. Tomorrow was going to be another day of great walking and I was keen to give my legs a rest.
