Within hours of being back in Auckland I was asked if I could play at the Auckland Band Association contest with my old band. Three rehearsals and a week later I found myself in familiar territory again; on the contest stage with my friends from Waitakere Brass. Our performance went well this afternoon, but we will not be told the results until tomorrow after all the bands have been adjudicated. You can hear a few excerpts that I've uploaded to the photo album.

During this week I've managed to meet up with three friends I met in Australia (Anat, Revital and Kirstie) and also had an opportunity to sort through the many photographs I've taken during the last twelve months. It will take me a while to upload them with the appropriate entries, so in the meantime here is a selection to whet your appetite.
