Having spent three days back on Peninsular Malaysia in KL it's back on the road to Melaka. It's always nice to come back to KL but having seen so much more of Malaysia now I can see why people want to get away from the hectic city life. This country has so much to offer.

After a couple of days in Melaka (a very historic port on the west coast) it's onto Cherating on the opposite coast for a bit of Batik painting. A few days later and up the east coast to the Perhentian Islands where I have managed to book myself on a PADI Open Water Diving course. I met someone at the hostel this morning who has just come from these islands and said it was fantastic - swimming with sea turtles and reef sharks!
