San Lorenzo de el Escorial is most known for its huge palace and monastery. There is alot of history attached to the city, but I won't relate that here.
This was to be my 4th and last day trip from Madrid; and I can say I think I have almost covered the bases with cathedrals and monasteries, and churches. Not to mention aquaducts and palaces.
So, off I went, to the Malcoa bus station (that's the name of the metro stop, I believe), and paid about 5 Euros for this bus ticket. The trip was to the northwest this time, another different route. The arriving bus station was near the action, so I was able to get square away pretty quickly.
I wasn't too overly impressed with the palace and monastery, maybe I was just overwhelmed with the whole thing. I didn't even keep my fotos, or at least I can't find them.
So, I was there, and that's about it
