To tell the truth, we did catch the bus after another late nite...this is getting to be a habit!  We took a cab to Backpackers from the bus station, and there I ran into my friend John, from a visit to the Lagoon out of Arica.  I loved the hostel!  It is just great!

The beach is just a hop, skip, and jump from us, and it is beautiful.  Really, really nice. On Sundays, everything is closed, you are lucky to find even a kiosko open.  But, we walked the town, pretty much so, and found the harbor with the tour and fishing boats.  There we found the seals swimming, and then begging for food from the fishermen.  We didn't expect to see this!

We found a wonderful restaurant right on the ocean, they serve a little jigger mango picso complementary.  They are super good!  Come to find out, they have piscos of every size, shape and form.  The pisco sour, for the uniniated, is a cocktail, concocted primarily in Chile and Peru, made from a regional brandy, limon or lime juice, egg whites, simple syrup, and bitters.  Well, anyway, we had another lovely fish dinner with wine.

We took a cab to the free trade zone, but it I wasn't too impressed with it. Ebay is better!  So, after a few more beach days, decided to head to Santiago.
