Hello all again!
So we are now in beautiful England.  Which to be honest, we havent really seen to much of England since we are pretty much here on the base, but it is a very pretty area.  We both feel like we are on a retreat right now.  It is so relaxing and refreshing.  We have gotten reconnected with Jason's old friends from his DTS period of time, and have been completely adopted into the Ywam family here.  Both of us dont quite know all of what we are doing here, but we are just trying to help in every way possible.  At this moment I am working in the Reception office, and Jason is in the kitchen.  He will be helping mostly with maintanance in the coming weeks though.  Yesterday I got to help in the nursery...which I love young ones as most of you know so that was perfect.  And supposedly I will be that a lot, and also hospitality and such.  Also yesterday, I was asked to play keyboard during worship for a conference they are having right now for the Base.  I was so blessed to be asked, and thoroughly enjoyed playing in Worship.  We had a very good time!  It is so refreshing being with these people who are quickly becoming family, being refreshed through them, but also finding out that a lot of them really need strengthening.  So I think that is one reason we are here at this time, to bring some refreshing and strength to them as well.  One woman here who Jason knew previously has been sick for the past couple years with something very close to what I got healed from a few years ago.  Seeing her sick has reawakened my hatred of that disease.  And we are working out a time to meet with her and pray for complete healing for her.  If you want to pray for her, her name is Nice.  She is from Thailand.  There are others here in need of physical and emotional healing.  We are asking for the love of Christ to overflow through us and bring life into the people here!  Do pray for us durin this time, for divine appointments, for life and the power of God, and the wells to be redug here.  Before this was a Ywam base it was built as an orphange type facility, rescuing children off the streets.  That was way back in the 1700s from what I hear, and it has been a place of Christ's life ever since.  There is a deep well.  Also the base is surrounded by fields and forests perfect for meditating on the Word, and dwelling in His presence.  We want His will for this time that we are here, to be done!!!  That is about all...  We are also connecting with some local churches here too.  And also something you might want to keep in prayer.  They dont really have local outreaches from this Base, and since that is so much our heart, Jason and I are praying about trying to gather some people from here on the base and stir up their desire to reach thier community by going out on the streets.  We know that if we just do stuff while we are here, there wont be anyone continuing on after we leave.  But that is so important to us...the people you are surrounded with, the community, need His love just as much as India and Thailand.  They do have a coffee shop they just started though, and some people from the community come up to it.  And they are having a fun community day in their apple orchard in a couple weeks too.  But there are no regular outreaches.  So...we want to see about maybe taking people out on treasure hunts or something.  We will see what happens.  Ok...so until next time!!!
