jules kate myself and the kids took and drive into nelson today and then went on a walk up the hill near the centre of the town...it takes about an half an hour to walk up...the field in front of the hill has a sign saying that the first ever game of rugby in new zealand was played on the field!

we then walked to the top of the hill to see a great view over nelson and the bay....it is also the geographic dead centre of new zealand...so we stopped for the tourist photo before making our way back down..

the kids had a play at the swings nearby before we made our way home for lunch...on the way we stopped at the village shop to get some space dust for the kids....i havent had space dust for years so kate bought me some as well!!!!! ahhhh the good old days..

we went home for a lovely late lunch on the deck in the sunshine ..with the tasman bay as our backdrop...i dont know what we are going to do when we leave!!! i really could get used to this...its fab!!!
