Where I stayed
well we managed to get a minibus from hua hin..everyone said you cant do it..but we found one ..it was us and a bunch of locals...3 hrs later we had left the madness of hua hin at new yr and made it to the river kwai...we got here 2 night ago and its been nice and relaxing..the place we have stayed in has been loveyl..with freindly staff and the food is cheaper...
we hired bikes are cycled around the place..seen the cemetery.river.bridge and found out about the awful conditions the pows had to work in...whilst building the railway....16000 died..they say that a man died for every sleeper laid on the track...i will update more later as we are off to the next stop in a bit..but its been great to come here and visit....
