plus the go go bars and themed restaurants..i think ive seen 4 different mcdonalds already! and one of them even has a bar outside it..so get your big mac and a lager!
we went down to the beach this morning after breakfast and a few of the bars had some guys drinking away at 10am...are the starting early or still drinking late?
so after the chilled islands of the south its now tourist central..package holiday hell...but we knew it would be...sometime you have to go and see just how bad things are so you remember how special the beautiful places are...so we have already booked our onward tickets to ao nang(krabi) and we leave day after 2moro.....
we have been on the bus to phuket town as well..just for a few hours to escape the madness of patong...we took a walk down the old town and it was nice to see the buildings..very similar to penang and melaka..the shop houses of the chinese,,
last night we finally managed to find my friends bar..and hooked up with him for a few drinks..he was telling us about patong and advised we visit bangla road at night to see the sights....boy oh boy there were some sights...it was crazy...people everywhere..bars pumping..and lots of ladies that used to be men....some fantastic costumes and some a little scary! but its ladyboy central here and also lots of girls offering massages...but im fairly sure everyone gets a happy ending!
its sin city and its attracts lots of people from all over the world to indulge themselves..time to move on!
