This morning was a typical camping morning for us, Daddy and Jaxson out for a bike ride while Blaine and Mommy get ready to roll out, the difference today was that we had some extra time on our hands so we were able to bike the Blacktail creek trail with Jaxson, both Daddy and Mommy. It's nice to get out with the boys in the morning while they are fresh and get some exercise and wear off some energy for the long ride ahead. Tire them out, then let them nap during the drive, it's worked so far.

After our ride, we boarded the Barchy Canyon Cruiser for the Spokane Valley. It took us through a very smoky Montana, with a brief stop at Walmart is Missoula for some supplies, and of course, a parking lot bike ride for Jaxson. Blainer has been battling teeth the whole trip and that showed up today with a bad diaper rash. Poor little guy, but he's been an absolute trooper. He also knows, "How big is Blaine?". Try it, next time you see him, too cute.

As we passed into Washington, we decided the KOA in Spokane Valley would be our home and we didn't want to do dishes. Therefore we decided that PF Chang's was on the menu for tonight. Talk about a camping spread. Nice. After dinner, a little time on the playground for the boys, where Blaine absolutely loved his time on the swings. Campfire tonight was different, because of the fire ban, the KOA brought around cinder blocks and metals firebowls to rest on the with mesh lids so we could at least roast marshmallows and Amy could fine tune her s'more prowess. Trust me, this is now science.

I would recommend this KOA to anyone traveling through Spokane and needs to overnight. Very well run and professional. Just thought I'd throw that in for the fellow camper/Farkels in the group. One more night of life on the road, hopefully in Birch Bay by 6 or so tomorrow. That's it, JB has Spokane enough for now. I know, cheesy but necessary.

We have sure been enjoying your blog entries JB! We are going to try to slip down to BB to see you this evening. Working today though so it won't be until 7'ish. Hope to see you then!

Wish we could try one of those s'mores! Sound delish! Would love to make it down, but can't tonight :( If you find yourself driving near Coquitlam, stop by! Hugs to all!
