I'm finally here in Whistler. This is where to holday really starts. I'm meeting up with James and Jenna and staying here for what was supposed to be 2 months but I'm now staying for the witner.

So I got here and James and Jenna picked me up. The village had changes so much since i was last here in 1995. We went back the their place which is right in the village with a pool and spa it was quie nice. The mountains were beautiful and the weather was amazingly awesome. Aparently they were breaking records for the great weather we'd been having. We went out to dinner and called it a night.

Checked out the locals night at the all the local pubs and clubs. Found it hard to get a good DJ, Mark has set a high standard.

I got a job with in days. Every shop was looking for people. So I went into a t-shirt shop and pretty much got a job str8 away. But they told me I had a position if I wanted it but to look around first incase there was something better. But I wanted a easy job and this was perfect for me.

I started looking for a house as well. There were a couple of plcaes but I was either too late or it was too hard to get in contact with the people. So James one day made a call for me about a room in Whistler Cay Height. Which is where I am living now. It is 10 minute walk from work and 5 to the village. And the best part is it has the internet whcih is a bonus here as it costs so much to go to a cafe.

During the summer there is great mountain biking. They turn half of a ski slope in to a bike park with jumps and so on. But there are heaps of tracks in the bush everywhere. James worked at a bike shop so we would hire bikes and go biking some tiems. It was very nice.

Took a hike to a lake called Rainbow Lake. It was three hours all up but well worth it. It was so green and the weather was great as well. I could not have asked for more. We did see a Bear which are all over Whistler but never when I have my camera with me.
