Today we decided to take advantage of the Coffs Harbour tourist attractions, at least the ones that were free!!  Coffs is well known for its banana plantations, so one of the main things to do in Coffs is to visit the Big Banana, which is a gift shop/fun center/gift shop, with a huge banana at the main entry.  We toured the gift shop for a bit, then visited the candy shop, which offers free demos of how they make the candy and free samples of the candy. These candies are quite interesting, since they have designs of theis flavors in the middle....and it is all made with the candy itself...it is hard to explain, but it was interesting.  Then we were off the ride the tobaggan (fun center portion).  After the tobaggan there was still more free stuff to do so we went to the Confectionary (where they make coated chocalate candies) and give tours of the facilty.  This tour was all of about 5 minutes since we walk in and head to the back to see a pot of melted chocolate being poured over licorice which runs down a belt through a cooler then to a lady who boxes them.  Thats it, but hey it was free and we got more free samples.  Then we were off to the Sealy lookout which gave us panoramic view of Coffs Harbour.  We opted to save the last free attraction for another day which is the botanical garden.  We needed something to do in the comings days that we would be staying in Coffs.
