From Ithaca we decided to take the scenic byway 89 heading north. This follows along the Cayuga Lake, which has many wineries off of 89 in the area. We headed up 89 to stop at the Taughannock State Park so that we could check out the Taughannock Falls. This is where my old co-worker Chris from PMRS proposed to his now wife Holly. There was a trail to get down to the bottom of the falls, which is where he proposed, but we missed the parking lot for that trail and instead headed to the overlook for the falls. It was really pretty and I don't think our pictures really do it justice. After getting some photos though we headed back to the RV to continue our way up 89 to a campground for the night.
