On our way in to the Thousand Islands area we stopped at an information center just before Alexandria Bay. We drove in to town just to check it out and stopped at the Thousand Islands Winery to do a wine tasting. We could taste 6 wines for free so we went ahead and did that. We ended up buying a bottle of red. Then we found a campground to stay at, and did some work. Jared worked on some CAD and our blog, while Jen made apple cobbler with the apples we picked in VT. Then we drove into Alexandria Bay for the Steelers game at 8:20pm. We found a bar that had the game on, called the Dockside Pub. It wasn't the nicest joint, but it had the game on. No other Steelers fan to enjoy it with us here, but at least we were able to catch the game. It wasn’t pretty but a win is a win. After the game ended, we drove back to the campground to crash for the night.
