So next we drove east and picked up the Franconia Scenic Byway and took that south back into Lincoln. Clark's Trading Post is like an amusement park that has a show with trained bears, a steam powered train ride and circus acts. However, after Labor Day they go to weekends only, until this upcoming weekend then they go every day. So we just flat out missed the boat on this one. I was able to see the bears though. They were in an indoor/outdoor area and I was able to get some pictures. They were both pretty big fellas. So we checked out their gift shop, got our magnet and headed out.
