Where I stayed
Pumpkin Patch RV Resort
Sunday, September 11th
We got up semi early today and headed on the road to find a suitable bar to watch a game. Jared has an App for his phone that shows Steelers bars anywhere you are, but there were none in Millinocket and none in Bangor either. But at this point we figured that we would head to Bangor and just find a sports bar so at least we could watch the game, even if it wasn't a Steelers bar. And we happened to find a place called the Sports Arena that did have some Steelers fans there, as well as a Bar Tender who was excited to see some Steelers Fans there. We got there about 20 minutes before kickoff and got seats right in front of the game, then continued to be embarrassed by the beating the Raven’s put on the Steelers. So that was a bummer, but we did have a good time. Luckily there was also a campground 4 miles down the road so we just hopped in the RV and headed to the Pumpkin Patch RV Resort. And Sunday nights at the Pumpkin Patch, is ice cream night. For only $.75 a scoop we had some ice cream with all the other RVer’s. I would say we were the youngest couple there by 35 years. So we fit right in. haha. We had our ice cream and went back to the RV to rehydrate and plan where we are going tomorrow. We know we are heading to Mt. Washington, NH, but we aren’t sure the best route.
