Today we had a huge driving day. Our goal was really to get to the east coast and up in to Maine with Jared's parents. Since we got detoured due to Irene we put a big drive in today to get to the Pinewood Lodge Campground in Plymouth, MA. It ended up taking longer than we originally thought due to road closers from Irene. We had to do one major detour that added an hour to our trip and then we had other minor detours on top of that.
It wasn’t just all driving though. We decided to stop at the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum near Roscoe, NY. Roscoe, NY happens to be Trout Town USA. Sharon and I just checked out the store, but Jared and Jim headed in for the museum. They seemed to enjoy it and Jim was full of fun facts afterwards. He also bought some new flies so hopefully he will get a chance to use them on the trip. When they finished up at the Fly Fishing Museum we had some lunch in the RV outside of the museum and then got on the road again.
