Sunday, July 24th

We all headed back to Jared's parent's house since Jody and Alex are storing their camper at their house before it goes in for service in a couple of weeks. After getting their camper and our RV set up in the yard the Melson’s headed out for their house and the rest of us hung out for the night.

Monday, July 25th Happy Birthday Jordan!!! Happy Anniversary Kristen and Pete!!!

Today we spent the day helping out with some stuff at Jared’s parent’s house, catching up on the blog, and cleaning the RV. Nothing to crazy or exciting, but it is definitely nice to be back in a real house. Nash loves all the room he has to walk around the house
Tuesday, July 26th

Today we helped out around Jared’s parent’s house
again.  Jared had mentioned to his parents a while ago that they should utilize some rain barrels outback. Jared’s dad figured that was a project we could work on while we were home to help them out. He got two big drums from a local car wash and we got started on them. We spent most of our time on the rain barrels, but didn’t finish them since we had some questions for Jared’s dad. Other than that we just did some little
projects around the house and then got cleaned up to head to Boxer’s for wing
night. Jared’s mom had talked to the Waddles earlier in the day and they decided they would meet us at Boxer’s for some wings.  At Boxer’s we had some drinks and some great wings. After dinner we headed home to watch a movie and head to bed.

Wednesday, July 27th

Today Jared and I decided to do some mountain biking on the bike trails out by Raystown Lake. The trails were the Allegrippis trails, which are somewhat new to the area. We ended up deciding to stick to the easy trails because they really weren’t all that easy. It was definitely a good work out for both of us. Neither of us fell off our bikes but I did have a near fall at one point. I could hear some bikers behind me and got worried because the trail was really narrow. When I turned my head back to check and make sure it was really bikers I kind of steered off the trail in to some thorn bushes. Luckily I was able to catch myself and not fall over. I just came out with some minor scrapes on my legs.  It was a fun time and we will definitely have to hit up those trails again.

After getting back from biking we finished up the rain barrels and helped Jared’s mom set up the backyard for some friends that were coming over later. Apparently every year the Rotary does a fundraiser and sells chicken dinners. Jared’s parent’s like to get together with their friends to eat their chicken dinners.  There was a pretty good turn out and it was a nice night to hang out.   By the time everyone left and we cleaned up
we didn’t feel like packing so that will make an early morning for us tomorrow.

Thursday, July 28th

Today we got up at 6am so that we could pack and then head out of Huntingdon. We wanted to be on the road by 8am so that we could catch some of Alexis at horseback camp. We ended up getting out of the house by about 8:15am so we weren’t too far off.
