Thursday, July 14th

Since I got up early to run again this morning we were on the road pretty early. Our destination today Spring Green, Wisconsin to go check out Taliesin, which was just south of Spring Green. Taliesin is Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio/school designed and created by Frank Lloyd Wright. The tour that we were in time for was ridiculously priced at $47 so we didn’t go on the tour. We ended up just checking out the visitor’s center which was also designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, but not completed during his lifetime. Jared spent forever checking everything out in the shop only to buy an Architecture Crossword Puzzles book.  The gift shop is full of all things Frankie (that is what I am calling him now because his full name is to long) from furniture to a necktie; we have the catalog if anyone is interested. On our way we also passed a farm designed by Frankie with the Romeo and Juliet Windmill in the distance. After finishing up with all things Frankie we headed in to Spring Green to drive through the downtown. This was basically a two block little stretch, but it was a cute little place. After we finished checking out the town we headed for Madison, WI.
