Where I stayed
Fort Caspar Campground
Today according to Bryant's plan we would be driving to Orin, WY for the night. We changed this up some and decided to stay in Casper, WY. On our drive in to Yellowstone a rock crack our windshield so on our 4 hour drive today I took care of filing a claim and setting up an appointment in Casper, WY to get the windshield replaced (and also worked on my scarf I am crocheting). They told us that if we could be at the shop by 3pm they would be able to replace the windshield today. We made it at 2:51pm. So we were all good. There were some issues with our insurance company being confused about what our deductible is, but after Jared spent about a half hour on the phone with an insurance agent we got it all figured out. The confusion was because we have a special glass policy that allows us to pay nothing when getting work done on any of the glass. Apparently this was confusing because we do have a deductible for other work
While the windshield was getting replaced we walked around Casper checking out the little town. It was a cute little town and we went in and out of some stores. Well one of us would while the other one waited outside with Nash. Casper has like 5 different movie theaters and 4 of them are in like a two block radius. We took some pictures of the older looking theaters and we decided that we will probably ride our bikes back in later tonight to see Bridesmaids for $3.50/adult. You can’t beat that price.
Once the windshield was done we headed to Fort Caspar Campground to check in and get settled in. We had a quick pizza dinner so that we could get ready to ride in to town for the 7pm movie. Of course just as we were about to head out the skies opened up and it started pouring. We tried to wait it out for a while, but it didn’t really stop until the movie had already started. So we ended up just staying in and watching a movie.
