I wanted to go to Port Orchard because I have been reading a series of books that is loosely based on Port Orchard, which is the author's hometown. The series is the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber. There is a map online to point out the fictional places and the real places in the town. I was hoping that we would be able to eat lunch at the Pot Belly Deli, but it looks like they have closed down. The town didn't really look like it does in my head, but it is a cute little town. We walked around and checked out some of the antique stores. We ended up eating a late lunch at the Hideaway Cafe. Jared took some pictures of the Totem Pole and then we headed out for a campground close to Seattle.
