We took our time getting out of the campground today and hopped back on 101 going east now. As we were driving we decided to turn off and take the Dungeness Scenic Loop, which would take us right to the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. From here there is a 5 mile hike that you can do out on the Dungeness Spit to the lighthouse at the end. We decided to skip the hike and were just hoping we could get a good view of the lighthouse for a picture. There were different viewpoints along the way in to the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, but we couldn't see the lighthouse from any of them. So we looked at the map on Jared's phone and tried to find a way that we could drive to see the lighthouse. We were able to pull over in two different locations, but we weren't really that close for a good picture. After finishing up with our pictures we headed back to 101 to continue on our way.
