We got up today and headed out to continue on 109 until we would get back to 101. From there we worked our way north on 101 to head into the Olympic National Forest. Our first stop was to do the Rain Forest Nature Trail. It was a half mile trail that took you through the forest. Of course it was raining today so we had to wear our rain jackets in the rain forest. It was gorgeous though. We walked along the trail checking out all the big trees and we were excited that we were able to take Nash with us on the trail. He had a great time getting dirty. From there we headed up the road to the Lake Quinault Lodge and Lake Quinault. We walked down to the lake and got some pretty pictures of it. The lodge was cool looking also, but we didn't go in it.
