Jenny's high school friend Maggie lives in Portland and Jared has been in communication with her about us coming to visit. Maggie suggested that we meet her by her work on the way to Portland. So, we met her at the Sokol Blosser winery to do a wine tasting with her. She is a member of this winery so we were able to do the tasting for free and she bought us a bottle for a present. Thanks Maggie! We had a good time. Maggie suggested that we check out the town of McMinnville. So we drove there and walked around the little town, which was cute and decided to have some pizza for lunch. We found a bench that had a statue of Ben Franklin on it so we decided that Jared should definitely get a picture with him. We never did figure out what Ben was doing all the way in Oregon.
