From Coos Bay we continued north on 101 to the Umpqua Lighthouse State Park. And you may have guessed it, but we checked out the Umpqua Lighthouse while we were there. This lighthouse is run by the Coastguard and was set more inland, so it doesn't look as cool. This is also a good spot for whale watching. We hung around for a while trying to spot some whales, but we didn’t see any.
